I heard belated feedback that I was "territorial and too outspoken." Here's scientific proof: It was my prefrontal cortex blowing fuse from all that tap dancing and chronic people pleasing. Also, I hate when egos and ignorance impacts others. So there's that too

Remember when Megyn Kelly was furious that a cartoon featured a character that used they/them pronouns. That same very angry mom just said, in response to Epstein files, "There's a difference between a 15-year-old and a 5-year-old."

This No Kings Day I'll keep protesting with my wallet. I've scrutinized where I spend my $ and cut some services. While the conveniences and "connectivity" were nice, they're not critical for a fulfilling life, and as we saw before, when enough $$ is at stake, companies pay attention.

I shut down my Meta accounts in Jan/Feb. It was a relief, but I miss the personal updates. This week I decided to try out Pixelfed. Though it's far from perfect, the 100% focus on people is refreshing. If you want to check it out, here's the start of my own lil' page: gram.social/CSpinelli

Knitting is keeping me grounded. The rhythmic dance as needles, hands, and yarn create knots, rows, and progress. It's a calming act of meditation ending with something cozy to wear. 🧶 #knitting #sweater

So, this new budget. Starving children, struggling schools, no medical support for the poor and elderly, but lots and lots of soldiers at boarder. I've been going back to church and reading lessons about the Bible to see how all this fits with the big religious talk, and well, I'm stumped.

This Salisbury Steak was from "Mississippi Vegan" by Timothy Pakron. It was hearty and decadent 😋 😋 . #plantbased #cooking #mississippivegan

I've been revisiting recipes that use egg alternatives. This morning was a Tofu Scramble Saturday. It had leftover veggies sautéed with onions, garlic, and crumbled tofu that was mixed with soy sauce, garlic powder, and nutritional yeast. So satisfying!😋 #plantbasedcooking #tofu #eggalternatives
