Yesterday I ran the Royal Parks half marathon in 2.35. It was a fantastic day with beautiful weather.

I'm so proud to have made it back from injury and barely being able to walk in March to complete this. There's still time to sponsor me to support Centrepoint - www.justgiving.com/fundraising/...

On a short break in Gdansk, and twice went for a run along this beautiful canal. Ahead of the Royal Parks Half this coming Sunday, the dedication to an excellent cause! www.justgiving.com/fundraising/...

A brilliant day stewarding at London Trans+ Pride today. Now more than ever we have to come together and march for our community's rights.

It's fantastic to be at our collective event today to develop a shared vision for cardiovascular health. The #10YHP gives us a great opportunity to create real change for CVD and stroke.

A great session on empowering communities to improve health. Our current model is broken, and the 10year health plan has to change it. Meeting needs, improving outcomes, creating efficiencies and reducing burdens on systems all go hand in hand. Genuine partnership and brave leadership needed

Day 2 #NHSConfedExpo First up-how integrated neighbourhood health works for communities. Relationships are key, people don't care about who delivers their care and expect integrated services. We need a genuine power shift to communities, with trust, financial flows and governance to support it.

A joy to join the session on Keeping it Local, and lessons from @locality.org.uk on embedding principles into local authority and health service infrastructure and cultures. The need for inclusive approaches, investment and collaborative working across health and the voluntary sector.

I of course had to join a session on LGBTQIA+ inclusion in health. An interactive workshop, our table discussed the challenges and opportunities for building more inclusion into policies and leadership across the health service. Key points that leaders need to invest, be brave and be accountable.

We heard from James Mackey, CEO of NHS England talk about the challenges and opportunities for the health service. Sees this as an important moment to build energy to create lasting change. The scale and pace of change is huge, and it will need all parts of the system working together to achieve.

Hearing all about the upcoming 10 Year Health Plan. Key messages that this, if implemented, will completely change the make up and functions of the NHS. Moving to a more innovative, more devolved and more equitable service. Recognising the important role of partners, including the voluntary sector.

Had a fantastic morning cheering on friends and fundraisers with Centrepoint at the London Landmarks Half. It's still disappointing to have been injured and not able to run, but looking forward to recovery and trying again in October.
