These last few weeks have been long LONG needed nourishment for my soul. I was in a dark place for years, but a friend has gifted me a precious opportunity to stay at his place in Ventnor, UK for a bit. Day by day I can feel my former, happier self returning. Today in particular was transcendent. ☺️

*Deep breath* Ahh Ventnor, UK. It's good to be back.

Got an upcoming vacation to the UK. My mom told me to let her know when I fly out and she'd be happy to take me to the airport if she's available that day.

Goodbye Ventnor, Isle of Wight. My time was short, but amazing in this sleepy little seaside town. What an absolute experience.
And to my Guildford friends; I'll be back in little over a month for a longer stay and will be visiting you!

I'm sculpting in Zbrush on a laptop while sitting at an open window overlooking the ocean. This makes my heart sing!

Some days it's really frustrating how slow my weight loss progress feels. I mean, I'm laser focused on my goal, and I AM dropping pounds fast. It's just that I'm doing this so I can feel happy and confident again. I want that NOW! But hey, being pissed off makes for good exercise fuel. 😃

I recently got back into polygonal sculpting after a long hiatus (7 years.. maybe more?)
First attempt at this LoD in #b3d. 6m poly mesh was a breeze on a laptop. Sculpting in Blender has come a long way. The new hair system with geo nodes is pretty nice as well.

About 2 months ago I realized my 38th bday is coming up.. 40 is in sight. It scared the shit out of me! I aged a decade in that moment. You see, I was going through some stuff.. then COVID happened and I just checked out. Been on autopilot since.

But I'm doing something about it! (1/3)
