As Justice Kagan begins her dissent by pointing out, what is even the point of trial, of fact-finding, of clear error, of standards of review, when the Supreme Court simply ignores every single part of that and decides everything purely on the papers without any real consideration of the facts?

Beyond a doubt SCOTUS has down irreparable harm to the rule of law in the U.S. Reforms should be a priority of a Democratic administration. Biden promised reform but dithered.

Serious question- if the housing crisis was an 8 out of 10 two years ago, how would we rate it now?

Affordability has improved. Supply of housing has not improved nor has much progress been made to create more supply over the near term. Still feels like it is perhaps a 7 out of 10.
