I amend my position with a small caveat: If you are literally one of the candidates, then yes, you and that candidate might agree with each other 100%.
But, if you are not running for office yourself, you have to decide among the 2, or (rarely) 3, candidates who actually have a chance at winning.

Yeah, it wasn't clear from the story whether this was strictly limited to "gender-affirming care" or not.

So a trans kid breaks their leg and no hospital will be allowed to treat them or it risks losing all Medicare/Medicaid reimbursements? Doesn't that also violate EMTALA?
