I can't understate how bizarre it is, to have an "independent" political commentary/news show, in the aftermath of their host's death, just hand the show over to the administration. Have it hosted from the White House, by the Vice President, with various administration officials as guests.

Spruce Woods is one of the most conservative provincial seats in Manitoba. Tonight, the Manitoba PCs held onto it by only 70 votes.
While I would've loved to see Ray win it, this is by far the most pyrrhic of pyrrhic victories for the PCs. Things are not looking good for them. #mbpoli

This is why I've had a bad feeling about this Liberal momentum.
Liberals always do the bare minimum until forced. Carney sees us about to give him a great mandate, and already sees it as an invitation to do less for us.

If the gap between the 1st place Liberal and the 2nd place Tory is wider than the Tory and the 3rd place New Democrat, than a shift of votes from Liberal to NDP only helps the NDP pull ahead, not the Conservative.
