Needless to say Musk lobbied hard to prevent this company from selling cars in the US. Not only preventing the public from having cheaper more efficient vehicles but by eliminating competition in the market, he's damaging US R&D.

If blue states, invented a method to withhold transfers to the IRS, we'd be in a much better negotiating position. Moneys transferred could be ( for instance ;-) dependent on payments made and programs continued, records maintained and aid distributed.
