I am so angry that that petty vindictive man (who probably has never been in a library in his life) fired Carla Hayden. For her whole career she’s been a shining light—the North Star—of the library community, making the world better for everybody.

My latest quilt: Bílli'ya (forever). Shot cottons, wool batting, cotton thread. Hand pieced, needle-turn appliqué, hand quilted. Prairie point winged banners in the corners are embroidered with copper thread reading, “Oblaashaash + Himmaka’ + Onnakma̱.” (Yesterday, Now, Tomorrow in Chikashshanompa.)
