Idk about that. Anecdotally my impression of X change has more to do with monetization or “posts for clicks” than anything. And, regretfully, still more fun than here. But mainly because that long thing one has to shove up inside oneself to post here on too many occasions. 🤷🏻♂️

I am 100% sure it is not the case but can’t help to think about how this can be interpreted as apparent goodwill hiding ulterior intentions as discouraging new competitors. “Look how many and desperate there are of new writers that are a target for such scams”.
