It was a wonderful final rehearsal. Saturday night is going to be magical, tickets available via @minacktheatre.bsky.social box office or on the door.
The final summer Monday rehearsal of our choral year. For the last time in 2025 we shall drive home in daylight!

It’s been a very busy few weeks in the #NHS, pressure in the system & various announcements from .gov.uk haven’t been easy.

Couldn’t agree more! It’s going to be a fantastic performance, 4 weeks & counting.
Basses in fine voice this evening. Our St Matthew Passion is certainly shaping up to be dramatic!

This is Matron Ellen Dougherty the world’s 1st Registered nurse in 1901. She was matron of Palmerston North hospital where I trained 😇she had a staff of 2 alternating 12.5 hr shifts in 1893. Matron was also a trained pharmacist & would operate after hours if sole surgeon was ‘unavailable’ ie drunk.🤣
