I regret to inform you that I am once again angry, online.

Life can be challenging sometimes so it’s nice to find a positive affirmation from my…

…collar stay?

This is Frank. He visits frequently.

When the Wi-Fi is still out so you simply commit to grinding on your penmanship at 6:12 AM.

(And maybe take a whiff of the marker along the way 🤷)

Tonight in parenting:

The toothless wonder productively struggles with the ‘th’ and ‘ff’ sounds as he and Dad read “If You Give a Pig a Pancake.”

It’s the hardest thing. And the best thing.

(This applies to parenting. And teaching.)

Sure his team is getting rocked but that doesn’t mean he’s not going to be an absolute menace out there.

Kid’s a problem. My sideline editing skills are not.

I’ve never told a lie online.

Dad usually takes the Overs only. But he took the under tonight. And Dad won.

Teaching the oldest how not to be a dusty man, because I refuse to raise pigeons in this house.

Let’s get after it folks.

I am simply going to perish.

I know a ground ball hate to see him coming.

Dude is locked in on game day. LEGGO.

3 kids. 3 distinct personalities.

1. Earnest but very goofy

2. Utterly unhinged & about to jump into the fire

3. Sweet on the surface but a burgeoning criminal mastermind.

Being a dad makes me a way better teacher and so appreciative of K-8 folks.

I am so tired.

Club lacrosse family loading.

See you tomorrow in northern Maryland…literally all day long.

It’s a practice.

There is endless open space.

But my magnetic personality has once again drawn people irrationally close to me on the soccer sideline.

Lobbing a grenade into the kids’ lacrosse Team Snap parent chat.

Let’s see where this goes. 👀

‘Reading the Landscape Environmental History Field Exercise’ during long block in US History today inspired by the work of William Cronon.

“What ideas about progress, beauty, or order seem built into this space?”

I don’t get to cook as frequently as I want to b/c of kids’ schedules but sometimes (usually Sundays) I get after it.

Pork tenderloin with white bean ragu and fennel-apple slaw. We cooked with this one.

Creative.
Meditative.
Restorative.

Cooking is love.

The haterz and the loserz said we could never.

But they were WRONG. WRONG! #cinematic

We regret to inform you that the Cerenzia boys (Dad, mostly) are at it again.

There goes the neighborhood.

I'm taking a deep dive into the (potential) benefits of 2-stage testing. I'm sharing the following slides with students today. I need to write this up, but I'm excited about what we've learned so far.

(Small sample size, blah blah. We'll do it all year.)

I am once again deploying a #deft touch and elite managerial skills to make the LLM run the data.

GOOD EVENING AND WELCOME TO SOCCER WEDNESDAY!

(Kid didn’t want to wear his headband anymore 🤷🏻‍♂️)

We are cooking with this @eactl.bsky.social scholars project on two-stage assessment, right out of the gates. 👀
