I just want to show solidarity and let you know that I did the same thing - bisalp in 2022, right after Roe v Wade fell. Best decision for peace of mind I ever made. Let them get upset and yell into the void about it - such nonsense that your personal decision even offends anyone.

It's fun! Good music, entertaining bosses. Granted I didn't play any of the post game, but I hear it's pretty fun too.

Lol yeah. The first time my party encountered that they walked in, took two AoE arrow barrages to the face, and immediately walked out. They went in with a solid plan for it the next time though! The wizard made the barb huge w/Enlarge, then hasted him. The enemies couldn't fly far enough away.

Congratulations! I'm GMing for a party who are about to begin working on the last book. What encounters in floors 8-10 gave you the most trouble?

This. Also for me, writing out my grandiose speeches/monologues in advance helps. And notes on interjecting things the AP doesn't mention but that I'd like to foreshadow in the future.

There is also a not-zero chance that our wizard may die. I doubt it - I think the most that will happen is some tension. But the chance is still there. IF the boss doesn't get obliterated by the barbarian first.

It isn't technically over but it basically is. It was a good fight at least! And I ended up with good positioning for the wall... At the very end. Sigh. But at least the bleed did some work. Good on them for having good tactics though! Not splitting up, coming up with a solid plan...

I really enjoy MnMaxed. They've done Fall of Plaguestone, Extinction Curse and are working through Bloodlords. Absolutely hilarious podcast, great bunch of guys.

Because Ruby Phoenix looks fun as heck! I'm running it after AV myself, though it'll still be a while yet (my group's at the end of book 2). It's also appealing in that it's such a drastic change of pace from AV.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels this way. Like yeah, it means it shouldn't drift ever now, but it was such a good dopamine hit to pull off a TCJ within a difficult mechanic window. Now it'll just be another part of the routine, nothing special. =/

I did sleep overnight at the zoo as a kid! My elementary school also did a neat astronomy sleepover thing.
