I don’t have any bioessentialiat takes about perceived pain thresholds for cis women compared to cis men; I just think that if a procedure requires a pair of forceps that go inside your body, the medical institution should offer some minimum pain relief beyond “take aleve at home”

I try not to be bothered by noises of the city because I choose to live here in the city but last night really had it all: squealing tires from cars doing donuts, trucks with busted exhaust systems doing 50+ down my residential street, and fireworks at 6:30 am this morning. I’m tired y’all

turns out if you don’t like the way that most of your current clothes are sitting on your current body you can just spend a significant number of hours turning 4 balls of yarn into 1 sweater. which maybe doesn’t solve the underlying personal crisis but does help you feel a lot better about it.
