The level of denial it takes to continue to take unnecessary risks while being sick all the time astounds me.

Especially when they have a disabled person in their lives who offers them respirators. Tells them about clean air. Tries to help them “live their lives” safely.

Charities have always been woefully insufficient for ALL welfare programs. Anyone who tries to use them to justify destroying govt funding is really just using it as a way to not feel bad for being pro death

I know it’s frustrating when people say “covid’s back” when we know it never left.

I know it’s frustrating when they only pay attention now because it has a scary new name.

But it’s also a window of opportunity. It’s a chance to educate people on how to protect themselves and their communities

DOGE should not be given access to anything, they have proven to give that access immediately to malign foreign actors
"In fact, in the minutes after DOGE accessed the NLRB's systems, someone with an IP address in Russia started trying to log in ... Whoever was attempting to log in was using one of the newly created DOGE accounts — and the person had the correct username and password"
5 takeaways about NPR's reporting on the whistleblower report about DOGE at the NLRB
Here's a summary of NPR's findings about the report that a whistleblower filed to Congress about how DOGE violated security protocols and could have removed sensitive labor data.

And at this point it's like - in a party made in Trump's image, you realize you're also deciding how far future conservative administrations will feel willing to go, right
