The fact that men (I assume) still face societal stigma against developing deep relationships (platonic or otherwise) with other men is part of the problem. The only solution for loneliness that is seen as acceptable is a non-platonic relationship.

Different studio, specifically said they are doing “stylized”, not the realistic character visuals in the original game. So, yeah, fully TILF fodder.
