I’m utterly shocked about the ignorance of the Trump Administration. I don’t think they realise that this is a huge self inflicted damage to the future of American power. This baseless war against #Harvard, will hasten the demise of US. Already a fading Superpower.

Pax Americana rested on three pillars: US military power & defensive alliances, US economic power & free trade, and US diplomatic clout and support for liberal democracy/the rule of law. All three have essentially evaporated in the space of 10 weeks. The American Century (1917-2025) is over.
