The left needs to tone down the violent rhetoric of "Please don't kidnap people"

We should be more like the right with their peaceful "We are at war with you and certain people must be 'eliminated' from public life" rhetoric

if you're white and on the right you get infinite second-chances

I feel like I'm supposed to value hardcovers more than paperbacks, but man, a nice paperback is like peak book to me.

It's funny to me that much of the time I don't think I have anything very much going on inside me—no thoughts desperately waiting to be released from my head—but then I'll just bang out 10 posts about my thoughts on video game difficulty out of nowhere.

I'm really torn about how I feel about difficulty in video games because there definitely is value in a games that pose extreme challenges for a player to overcome, but also: extreme for some can mean impossible to others, and to others still it can even mean 'not very hard at all, really.'

I do get a lot more enjoyment out of the game when I mod it so every enemy drops beads and every hit only does 1 damage.

Seeing people hyping up the next Nintendo Direct while Nintendo patents basic game mechanics doesn't feel great
