Just unpacked the Miller face shield and am waiting for the batteries to charge. First impression is that the helmet is much lighter (as expected) but also has a much more comfortable halo. Seems easy to put on even with glasses and seals well.

I like the idea of the PAPR. Much better than wearing a mask, especially if you wear glasses. But, I can't use my monkey ears for hearing protection and have to use in-ear plugs which I hate. Life is full of compromises. I put more value on my lungs than my ears

I have an Air shield pro but I ended up hating it because all the weight is on top and just kills my neck during long sessions. I broke down and ordered a Miller Face Shield PAPR II which is being delivered today.

Those are some big, heavy bowl blanks. Probably 70% water weight
