I love this so much! Being confused or uncomfortable when looking at art is an opportunity to go deeper w/a piece and use it as a point of contemplation. Something you can walk by every day can spark new creative ideas inside yourself especially when it feels slightly outside your comprehension.

People are constantly telling me that they are not “good” at art, perpetuating this idea that artists are born with their skills. The only skill that I was born with as an artist was that I’m too stubborn to give up on something even if I totally suck at it.
