When creating large organisms, it is not enough to just linearly scale up your little creatures.

Big animals have robust limbs, weight saving adaptations, larger guts, thicker skin, etc., to deal with a huge increase in mass.

The psuedoraptor, an intelligent predator that generally lives in pairs and was able to survive the ecological collapse of the Fall.

Though they could kill an adult birrin, they are wise enough not to; in some cities they walk openly, thriving on urban pests and are much appreciated.
