A contribution to the discussion on the viral Vogue piece re: having a boyfriend is embarrassing: I just sassed my (imagined to be) hot Australian male *Siri* aloud when he did not instantly oblige my ask to set a timer. “If you even know how to DO that.” 🙄 #contempt

Well, 2025, you wild combo of jollies & shit sandwiches, I did not have Spin Doctors & John Popper covering “Purple Rain” The Ryman on my BINGO board so good for you.

Dang, Otis, thank you. Teaming up with the @npr.org Music crew every so often has been a huge upgrade to the Year of our Lord 2025.

Birthday boi Byrne, can you confirm?! 🚴‍♂️
I just learned from @celiasgregory.bsky.social that David Byrne is a cyclist, and once after playing the Ryman he rode over to catch another show at Exit/In.

Maybe next time he tries this there will actually be some bike lanes in Midtown???

Can’t wait for Wet Leg’s full record in June. For now, enjoy Rhian’s insights on the band’s togetherness & inspo for this collection of “desperate, mushy, all sorts” of love songs. 💓
"I’ve never wanted to write a love song where I’m, like, lusting over a man."

Wet Leg is back back with "catch these fists," the first single from their upcoming sophomore LP 'moisturizer.' We chatted with Rhian Teasdale on the band's new era: wnxp.org/on-the-recor...

Happy release day to @thirdmanrecords.bsky.social for this revived gem of an album by Ted Lucas, one cherished by his fellow son of Detroit Ben Blackwell. I’ve loved hearing these 50-year-old songs for the first time AND learning about Ben’s emotional catharsis in the grocery parking lot. Listen!
Ben Blackwell believes great music will always find its audience—and he’s made it his mission to help. That’s why he’s championing the work of late Detroit artist Ted Lucas, whose 1975 self-titled LP has now been re-released on @thirdmanrecords.bsky.social: wnxp.org/on-the-recor...

Danny, thanks for listening & appreciating @wnxpnashville.bsky.social from your beautiful (literal) neck of the woods! ❤️
One of the things I first found way back in 2000 after moving to Adams was 91.1. Today is a great day here one and a half hours away in Liberty. Thank you 🙏🏻 @wnxpnashville.bsky.social @celiasgregory.bsky.social

There are American astronauts literally floating in space RN & I got to simultaneously broadcast “ladies & gentlemen we are floating in space” over radio waves on Earth. 😭 Things are so hard but life can be so cool. Thx for appreciating, Simon.
@celiasgregory.bsky.social that spiritualized track was perfect for your space theme. 👌 Every time I hear it reminds me of the first time I heard it. Beautiful.

It feels so tedious (“arduous” came to mind first, but that’s dramatic) to start using a new platform. Build a following. Give a shit. So here’s my pretty dog, Ruby, in lieu of a cheery message or anything useful!
