My first concert was The Moody Blues at Edwin Warner Park for the 1993 hot air balloon fest. A year or two later The Fifth Dimension headlined and I was uninterested. I can’t begin to tell you now how much I wish I’d seen that show. While they may be the cheesiest band I like, T5D absolutely slay.

Jesus didn’t say turn the other cheek because he wanted us to be weak. He knew de-escalation was the only way humans would outlive their differences. The gospel of love is a survival guide. In it you can substitute life for love, or vice versa, but the point is the same: Humans divided will die!

I gave Buzz a ride one night in 1998. I was coming home from a DQ shift in Gallatin. He was only a mile or so out of town and it was threatening rain. He recognized me immediately, told me my phone number, my family members’ names, and their phone numbers before we settled into conversation.

If looking for new TV, Silo is great. 8/10 so far. The game of thrones sort of chess match nature elevates season two, where plots often run out of steam. And the acting is strong. Tim Robbins is excellent. The unknowns (to me) are also very good. Steve Zahn is in one of his best roles ever.

I’m gonna yell at clouds some more to point out how practical and user friendly it would be for corporate streamers to separate different artists with the same name. They have the resources and capability - they just don’t care. #music #spotify #apple #youtube
Prior to the Internet it could be very difficult to confirm your band/artist name was unique. Now it’s super easy but some acts don’t seem to care-or they’re intentionally piggybacking on someone else’s name recognition. How can you have any pride in your work if you have to use someone else’s name?

Prior to the Internet it could be very difficult to confirm your band/artist name was unique. It’s wild to consider that much of what I learned in the last 40 years could make me LESS able to understand this reality.
