I've been away from "home" for most of my life, if you define "home" as "where I came from". But to me, "home" is wherever I am surrounded by the people I care about. Geography is irrelevant.

Another one is "loathe" and "loath". One is a verb, the other an adjective, and I am loath to admit that I loathe people who confuse the two.

Ooooooh! Okay, I never knew that was a Thing. If your book and cookies were sold over here, I'd get (a) the book out of interest and (b) the cookie for the novelty. Though I'd feel bad about eating it (depending on how I felt about the book after I read it) 😉
