Finally watched Wicked (Part 1) this weekend, so I decided to also rewatch Return to Oz. I love how weird this movie is.

I got rid of my FB And IG accounts in January. But I did also begrudgingly create a new FB account as a professional account simply so I could assume ownership of my business's FB account. FB deleted it today for some reason. I'm taking that as a continued sign. I didn't really want to do it anyway.

So glad to know Delta denied my baggage claim where someone went into my checked luggage and stole my wedding ring because I submitted it 2 days past their deadline. Unfortunately, I'm Autistic, needed help submitting the claim and didn't have my support person available until then.

Week one in business ownership and I have no idea what I am doing, but people seem to think I am killing it, so I guess that's what matters?

A drug addict who makes cars that spontaneously explode, plows into cops, and crash at much higher rates than other cars, is going to fix the air traffic control system? I'm not getting on a plane until this drug-addled illegal immigrant is deported or imprisoned.

Went to yoga for the first time in almost 2 months and oof, I still think forearm planks are the worst. Gave me time to take my mind off of the terrible state of the world so I could focus on hating having to be reminded to breathe.

Did I just spend the last hour arguing with and having discourse with ChatGPT? Sure did. I'm not even mad.

A description of living with the American Health Industrial Complex:
Notice avery red/irritated thing growing on the end of your nose. You have "good insurance". But you question whether to try to see a doctor because: 1. It might just be a pimple. 2. You likely can't get an appt for 3+ weeks.

One day later, I am finished Season 2 of Ted Lasso and naturally I'm completely obsessed with Roy Kent.

As I am telling my clients this week, "The purpose right now is to overwhelm you into hopelessness and despair. Which means caring for yourself and others, and continuing to find joy is an ongoing act of revolution. Feel the pain and grief, that's real. Your inner light cannot be destroyed."

In these times, it's helpful to put things in perspective. The current cost for Gaston to eat 5 dozen eggs every morning is $24.95/day, $174.65/week, or $9,106.75/year. Looking at my W2 for last year that's nearly 20% of my yearly total wages just to feed him breakfast.

Back home with the cat who gave me lots of attention until he got fed, then went back to being annoyed/indifferent to my attempts to cuddle him.
