Just a reminder that the holidays can be stressful and aren't always happy for everyone. Add to that the anxiety people are feeling post election, it can weigh even more heavily.

I can’t tell you how different it is on X now after so many people have left. I have always followed mostly right-wing accounts because I cover them, and they are running out of people to pick fights with. So they’re just mostly fighting with each other.

I became less and less active on social media after 2020.
I thought I was just burned out after how intensely active I was b4 the 2020 election.
Now, I think it was just because Twitter was sucking more and more. Bluesky has reminded me how good social media can be when it isn’t a toxic snakepit.
