It's just so depressing seeing people casually lean into more destructive practices when there is literally no need for them

It won't even benefit them in any way in the long-run and most likely they'll regret it in twenty years, if we last that long

That comparison doesn't hold much weight. There is a great difference between writing your own thoughts and using an AI to generate them, especially when it pools its data from other people's actual writing!

This is the opposite of increasing "human ability" -- if anything, it's lessening it
