Ever notice how online debates explode whenever someone says something is “just a theory”? The wild part is that the word goes all the way back to the Greek theōría, which meant careful contemplation and seeing things clearly. Not guessing. Not speculating. Actually looking at the world.

Agnostic vs. atheist isn’t the same axis. “Gnostic/agnostic” means knows vs. not‑knows. “Theist/atheist” means deity follower vs. not. So, an agnostic atheist doesn’t believe in a god and also admits they can’t prove one doesn’t exist.

Science fact: Demodex mites are tiny creatures that feed on our skin oils. Political fact: Politicians are larger creatures that feed on our trust and wallets. At least the mites don’t pretend they’re working for us.
