I think it speaks to a reality that we’ve grown accustomed to, though. Most “news worthy” mass shootings seemingly end the same day with the shooter dead or in custody. The question speaks to deviation from a norm and that deviation is causing anxiety. That anxiety has to be addressed.

Yeah, when I was a kid, benign neglect was the order of the day. During the summer, I’d wake up and disappear until sundown. But that’s inconsistent with today’s reality. So what worked for me in getting to school is likely also unrealistic today. People adapt; let them.

So his front foot probably has the heel braced against the I-beam. The back foot is probably a toe on the I-beam. Maybe, historically, those shoes are different from what I’m imagining, but I’m imagining hard sole with no tread. I’d be scared completely free of fecal waste.

My thought is that they’re trying to control by contract what they can’t control through IP law, i.e. restrict IP from being associated with certain classes of prompts to restrict the outputs users can generate.

Unless it’s important that I fly into LAX specifically, I always go to John Wayne airport. It’s a much smaller airport.
