Thanks Euan. The thing is, I know it's not the case that the general public don't care. With both climate and biodiversity it's that they feel powerless and that efforts are futile so they switch off. It's a delicate balance communicating realistically and keeping people engaged and taking action.

Haha that’s ok! Yes they’re small themselves, about the size of a small cat. They’ll eat mice, rats, little marsupials like young bettongs (a cute rabbit sized macropod).

Yep, primarily an insectivore but it depends on the time of year (and boom/bust of insect populations). They also scavenge things like kangaroo/wallaby and will hunt small mammals. Occasionally they’ll eat berries too. They’re opportunistic!
