The whole myth is so absent of any scientific analysis and purely vibes based on the exact same way MAHA types push myths like "seed oils are the worst kinds of oil! eat lard! vegetables are evil, eat steak instead!"

The same reason why eating beef is way worse for the environment than eating tofu. I don't know why people think cows stop making methane when it's for leather or don't understand how chock full of petroleum and toxic chemicals tanning is.
