Just sitting here sobbing as I listen to @booker.senate.gov speak and tell stories that people have told him. As an educator, I lay awake at night worrying about my students whose parents may be deported. I worry about students with disabilities including my own child. This is not okay.

Being a teacher is hard for so many reasons. Today I was teaching my first graders about Presidents’ Day and it makes me sad that I can’t even teach about the Declaration of Independence, without fear of someone getting offended.

I am at a loss how any republicans are okay with any of this, even the sane ones like Merkowski. They are just watching all of this happen and have no sense to shut it down. There is no way they all think this fine. It makes me so sad and disappointed in our country. 😢

If I were a staffer in the White House, I would purposely be showing Trump everyone someone says Elon is in charge.

Can a lawyer on this app fill me in on what happens if a court order isn’t followed by Donald Trump? Happy to see lawsuits but they literally do nothing if court orders aren’t followed.

I just called my senators local number and had a great conversation with the girl taking messages. She told me that every single call she has received today has been about Elon Musk and that they want something done about it. She has received 100’s of calls all VERY unhappy.

Silently sobbed on my walk today because I am terrified. Can’t anyone do anything about Elon Musk?!
