Remember that feds have to report weekly to DOGE our top accomplishments? Well, SSA advised us today that managers are to apply progressive discipline for those that do not comply. Progressive discipline means oral warning, written warning, various suspension levels, removal. @alt-ssa.altgov.info

SSA employees received “voluntary” reassignment notices today. Dated 3/29, signed agreements due 3/31, effective 4/1. These mission critical employees support front lines; systems, developers, policy experts, trainers. If they disappear from their jobs, SSA will not function. @alt-ssa.altgov.info

GSA froze our government credit cards. No one can make any purchases or pay bills. Prediction: within the next few days, the story will be “SSA can’t pay its bills! They can’t even handle their own bills, they sure can't handle the Trust Fund! We are going to privatize them.” We are being set up.

The termination "is for cause and will promote the efficiency of the Federal service in accordance with the Presidential Executive Order, entitled "commencing the Reduction of the Federal Bureaucracy," issued on February 19, 2025." "For cause" is a term of art - no right to severance.

On 2/25/25, SSA sent termination notices to ALL employees in the Office of Civil Rights and Equal Opportunity - approximately 130 employees. They were immediately placed on administrative leave and will likely be terminated in 30 days.
