In Edinburgh, Lighthouse Books, Argonaut and Typewronger are the bookshops you're looking for! The Regent, Dreadnought and The Dog House are good pubs, but in general you should be fine most places in the centre. Special mention to Kafe Kweer for a nice coffee with very lovely staff :)
