My current Silver 70 EPO health plan monthly premiums will be $1739 in 2026 because I no longer qualify for ACA subsidies. That’s $20,868 annually which is about the cost of an ER visit I had in 2025. Do I take the risk of not having insurance if I have another emergency? Something to think about.

We have to stop referring to it as the Republican Party. There is nothing republican about the GOP and its representatives. The party’s name should not be antithetical to its policies and the actions of its elected officials. Hence I will now refer to this party as the American Fascist Party.

It took twice- to thrice-weekly visits to the doctor for 2 months and 3 rounds of oral antibiotics, for the wound sustained on July 4th to be almost healed. As a bonus, I have developed a contact dermatitis likely due to the ointments used in the wound dressing. Can’t wait to be over.
