I have no idea of any other symptoms of Buruli infection other than the ulceration that doesn't heal. You may well be correct.

Buruli is normally spread by mosquitos that have first bitten a possum and then bit a human. The result is a dreadful ulcer that doesnt heal easily. So Id recomment not touching possums because you dont want anything like that.

avoid touching them. They carry the Buruli bacterium.
