Well, stop being an EV hater and embrace EVs - EVs are the fastest way to send a financial message to the petrol companies about high petrol prices

Recently a new bakery/coffee shop near me took months to open. I discovered that this was due to the planning approval process. So i thought I would explore the costs of business in Whitehorse. So do other councils have business charges that are similar to this?

So if a council established radius tree gardens around trees in parks & planted this with small native plants that are known to have moderate to high Fungal colonization levels - then innoculated that tree garden with Johnson-Su compost - we would have a small but effective emission absorption site.

Fascism ? This is Perth apparently.

It is an MRNA vaccine that cures Cancer. So will the antivaxxers take the jab if they have Cancer ? Or will they choose to die a painful death from this disease instead?

I don't know for sure whether this is the case (I suspect it may be) but if a plant's roots are sufficiently deep in the soil then the Glomalin producing AM fungi attached to them will create Glomalin that becomes mineralized. (Glomalin is 30-40% carbon and remains buried for 50 years)

I have completed a database that shows all of the indigenous local species in the Nunawading Mitcham area, as sold by Greenlink (158 plant species). This could be used as a tool to guide planting projects and the effectiveness of emission burying.

This is a table that shows the most common Genera of AMF fungi, their geographical range, and whether they produce Glomalin. Glomalin is incredibly important in the burying and storage of carbon emissions.

It's the Mr Crabbs (spongebob) loaf. Nothing worse than an attack of the crabbs

Which means that there will likely be glomalin production - pumped into the surrounding soil. Glomalin is 30 to 40% carbon and is extremely robust, remaining buried for decades if not longer. Berry Saltbush is a native Glomalin facilitating groundcover

Glomalin is 30-40% Carbon and is extremely robust - burying emissions for decades or longer. Small plantings with these species mean that we are creating effective local carbon absorption zones.

Common everlasting is another native species that has AMF (Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi) mycorrhizal associations. This means that the soil surrounding this plant will have the AMF fungi pumping Glomalin into it.

There are some pretty decent Used EV models under $30K popping up now. MGs are a very reliable make. My dughter purchased a used MG EV - excellent car.

EV Whingers say EV batteries cause fires. These are the statistics on EV and other battery fires in NSW for the first half of 2025.

Climate change caused food price increases around the world. Restoring Biology acts as a sponge to rebalance Carbon and mitigate these risks. But people are incredibly stupid.

Mycorrhizae bury 36% of emissions. Forest Moss 15% of emissions. In this 7 year old urban microforest—established on weedy grassland—mycorrhiza and Forest moss are starting to appear
