Is Trump's dementia the reason for his chaotic moves on Tariffs and international relations? I don't think so. I think he's running an extortion racket in which corporations and countries have to constantly placate him with bribes and flattery. #TrumpExtortionRacket #TrumpTariffs

Take heart. Trump’s approval rating at 45% is well below all other post WWIi presidents at the end of their first 3 months in office. They averaged 60% approval. I know, it’s dismaying that 45% of people think he’s doing a good job but it’s hard to admit to mistakes. news.gallup.com/poll/659534/...

I'm thinking that stricter voter ID laws may hurt the Republicans more than the Democrats. The Dems are now the party of the college-educated, the Republicans are the party of the less-than-college educated. Who is more likely to have plenty of ID on hand when it's time to vote? #voterIDlaws

Why do Trump voters hate science? Because it's much nicer at least in the short run to believe a comforting lie rather than a painful truth. As T.S. Eliot said so well and so long ago, "human kind cannot bear very much reality."

We won't get rid of Trump and his new Cultural Revolution until a significant portion of his supporters turn against him. Perhaps when he smashes along with the Federal Government part of its critical infrastructure. He's already started on the CA water system. FAA next? Energy grid?

Hi people and others. I’m about to depart all Zuckerberg-owned sites though it will take me awhile. It’s a beautiful snowy sunny cold day in Bellingham. Trying to get myself off the couch to clean the snow off my car and maybe find a new year bird.
