We’ve sent an open letter to the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions to tell him that the the government must act urgently to prevent increasing numbers of women being driven into sex work by poverty and financial need.

The Swedish government is now seeking to criminalize the purchase of adult content — equating OnlyFans subscriptions with "the purchase of sexual services," which is already a crime.

Anti-trafficking say its the logical extension of their Nordic Model, which was pioneered in Sweden.
OPINION: Förbjud inte Onlyfans – stärk skyddet för hemmaposörerna
Om hemmaposörerna får betalt ska de betala skatt, inte tvingas ut på internets bakgator.

Sex workers, of course, know this better than anyone.

The moral panic over "sex trafficking" means law enforcement sacrifices actual anti-trafficking work to police sex workers.

Banks' panic-drafted "sex trafficking" flags debank sex workers — increasing vulnerability to exploitation.

Radfems claim they ‘just want to save women from exploitation,’ but somehow that always translates to ‘take away their income, criminalize their clients, and make their lives harder.’ Wild how their ‘feminism’ looks exactly like oppression.

Does anyone know how to get hold of the supporters of this legislation? I can’t find SWAG, and I see nothing about this bill coming out of Rep. Guzzardi’s or Sen. Villanueva’s offices. I want to do whatever I can to help push this.

The laws essentially make sex workers legally "radioactive", so that anyone having any financial or social interaction with a sex worker (landlords, parents, spouses, partners, roommates, employees, etc) can be prosecuted as a "pimp". maggiemcneill.com/2019/03/08/g...

The "Swedish model" defines women as moral imbeciles in sexual matters, and men as our moral superiors. Thus, any state-prohibited sexual interaction is purely the man's liability, in exactly the same way an adult is always held legally responsible for sex with someone below the age of consent.

Now I’m a sex trafficker, and all my friends are now guilty trafficking too (of themselves).
The War on (consensual) Sex (between healthy adults) continues. New from @enbrown.bsky.social: 'Massachusetts may...declare anyone who tries to pay for sex...to be a sex trafficker, thereby defining all prostitution, even between consenting adults, to be...sex trafficking' reason.com/2025/01/13/m...
Massachusetts court weighs whether all prostitution is sex trafficking
Five "traffickers" arrested for responding to an undercover cop's sex ad are challenging their convictions in the state's high court.
