Every time I find myself thinking “I wonder what happened to that actress…” it turns out she said “No” to a man and then got called a bitch or unstable or or or… and then blacklisted.

If we did a fraction of the research into our candidates for elected office as we did for our fantasy football teams, we would have the government we desperately need.

Not here to serve Americans, but rather to serve Trump. The perfect encapsulation of MAGA.
Hegseth: I don't answer to anyone in this group, none of you, not to that camera at all. I answer to President Trump.. I answer to the 50— the 100 senators who are part of this process and those in the committee.

Republicans vigorously defended Kyle Rittenhouse when he murdered two people with an AR15, but they wanted Hunter Biden to go to jail over lying on a form.

The fact that Republicans will just switch positions whenever it benefits them is why I think Biden's pardon was justified.

America just reelected a rapist and felon who is assembling a Cabinet of conspiratorial sociopaths and incompetent criminals, and too many Americans are like, “Let’s pretend this is normal.”

New in PN: Tulsi Gabbard and Trump's scheme to gut the intel agencies

"It’s easy to see why Trump sees value in putting a stake in the heart of the intelligence agencies. From his perspective, the risk they'll uncover wrongdoing by him, or the authoritarian leaders he identifies with, is too great"
Tulsi Gabbard and Trump's scheme to gut the intel agencies
It's hard to envision a less suited intelligence chief. That’s a feature, not a bug.

42% OF ALL IMPORTED AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS IN THE U.S. COME FROM MEXICO OR CANADA.

Trump wants to impose a 25% tarriff on these goods.

Gosh, I wonder what will happen to the price of eggs?

Anyone, any entity, anywhere in the world can just pay him any amount (for anything he promises in return), and there's no disclosure of the payments, no oversight of any of it by anyone, and of course no potential bribery prosecution (of him) because... immune.

Larry Pfeiffer, the director of the Hayden Center, on Tulsi Gabbard:

"I think it also raises questions of judgement. You know, here’s an individual who seems very prone to misinformation, prone to conspiracy theory. That should worry anybody who’s worried about America’s national security."

Bingo.

1/ Ever heard of a gyroscope? It’s a device inside a ship that keeps the boat level so it can move smoothly through the water. If the ship tries to drift too far to the left or right, the gyroscope forces it back into an even keel. I always believed America had a gyroscope of sorts—the people.

The Chinese Bibles cost Trump $3 each. He is selling them for $60. That’s a $57 profit on each book. Oklahoma is ordering 55,000 of them. That’s a $3,135,000 taxpayer funded kickback to Trump to promote the personal political ambitions of Superintendent Ryan Walters.

Medicaid, food stamps are now on the chopping block to fund tax cuts for billionaires.

You voted against my daughter, my career, this country, the climate crisis, and for fascism.

Believe it.

And the purge begins. The Trump transition team is compiling a list of U.S. military officers directly involved in the withdrawal from Afghanistan & exploring whether to court-martial them. This is Hitlerian to the first degree especially since they were carrying out Trump's plan.
