I would love to see a professional rugby league structure really take hold in Canada, and a club within the Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment stable. Just ONE of their teams, the Toronto Maple Leafs, had a surplus of $125 million (Cdn) in 2024. They could support a pro rugby league team or two.
