We knew all along that this was the case, despite some of our southern neighbours trying to convince us that this was merely Trump trolling and trying to establish a strong bargaining position. His hyperbole, arrogance, ignorance, lies, and threats have irreparably damaged the relationship.

I replied to a commenter on a post on The Chive website, as he mistakenly conflated the Canadian booing of the US anthem with disrespect for the US military. Untrue. It's directed at Trump.
