They are talking like it will be a natural progression from LLMs and such to artificial general intelligence but that is equivalent to saying "based on current trends in HVAC technology we predict that faster-than-light travel will be commonplace by 2037"

I feel like the crowd is getting to the “I thought this speech was going to be a lot shorter I’m not sure I have much woooooo left” moment
