The problem is the percentages obscure the true impact.
There are a number of states where two working parents earning minimum wage do not earn enough to break over the poverty line for a family of four; they could lose $1,400 annually, which would be devastating for them.

What's crazy is there's infighting among Republican Senators, because some of them want even more cuts to Medicaid and other programs.
