I worked for the VA for over a decade longer than Doug Collins and I can promise you that cutting jobs will kill Veterans. The VA was already woefully understaffed thanks to Republicans constantly curtailing funding and benefits.
Secretary of VA Doug Collins has been adamant that staff cuts will not affect veterans' health care. In a contentious Senate hearing Tuesday, he accused Democrats of fearmongering.

"We've always said that we're going to keep frontline health care."
