The idea behind him is that he was a wizard's lowly scribe that was tired of being abused and wanted more. Alt text of the attached image has the backstory, which I used ChatGPT to generate.
Aldus Pagemaker spent years in the service of Archmage Othren Vale, a cantankerous and demanding scholar of the arcane. Played a Human Cleric last night’s at D&D Adventurers League session. First time playing a non-Barbarian, and I didn’t like it. I know the character will get better as it levels up, but at Level 1 it was a little too useless. Managing spell slots wasn’t fun. Dying wasn’t fun either. lol

This is Grizzle Thimbletooth, a gnome barbarian/artificer, I'm playing in a D&D campaign. ChatGPT did pretty good based on my limited prompts, but as soon I'm able to save up to commission a non-AI generated pic, I will.
Grizzle Thimbletooth is a stocky, battle-hardened gnome with a wild mane of wiry gray hair that sticks out in every direction, as if permanently charged with static. His thick, bushy eyebrows nearly obscure his sharp, mischievous eyes—one green, the other replaced with a mechanical monocle that clicks and whirs when he adjusts it. His face is lined with age and experience, but his wide, toothy grin reveals an unshaken love for chaos and invention. Despite his small stature, Grizzle is built like a boulder, with sinewy arms covered in soot-stained leather bracers and a patchwork of scars from both battle and failed experiments. His armor is a bizarre fusion of metal plates and reinforced leather, adorned with an assortment of gears, vials, and tiny mechanisms that clatter with every movement. His massive, double-headed battle axe—clearly modified with some kind of arcane or mechanical enhancement—rests on his back, its handle wrapped in intricate, self-tightening metal bands.
