I wonder how silly I sound to people when I talk about wanting to go pro or becoming one of the best players in a game I play, I feel like I'm such an odd one out having a real actual goal like this for the age I'm at where others have already given up on the dream or probably think its childish

Me battling in my mind trying to justify spending $220+ on a new pad even though I haven't tried improving at any fighting games for the past like 4 months and been playing rocket league non stop

Called them again the other day asking if I could join a wait list for cancelled appointments, but turns out they had an opening in 2 weeks that the person who schedule me in November likely ignored .-.

Crashing out they just rescheduled my hrt appointment that was this friday to November 5th because they "scheduled it wrong" wtf

Status update: I am now deeper into the self hosting hole, I've created a jellyfin and got an Intel arc card (thanks to a friend) for transcoding, I also was given 4tb of storage so I got a decent sized zfs raid array before I need to upgrade lol

Me having a game changing discovery last night being that if I play like I'm better than everyone I will play better especially when I am better than people (confidence does wonders to the human mind)
