I honestly think Liz Truss has to ask people what her opinion should be: she can’t form her own viewpoint or opinion. Wouldn’t be surprised if she isn’t waiting for instructions from Tufton St / her sponsors on what she should say is her stance on the Trump/Ukraine situation
This puts me in mind of the Rory Stewart story, when Liz Truss was his boss. She asked how his weekend had been. He said his father had just died. She paused, then she asked how he was getting on with the 25 year environment plan.
