How can the most powerful, most wealthy, country in the world fail so badly. Clearly, there is a fine line between strength and weakness, but currently, the word that comes to mind that describes the current USA gov is INCOMPETENT! So much childlike finger pointing. Ridiculous.

I had a treat yesterday evening. Only the second time I have seen a hummingbird hawkmoth at close range.

Spotted this lovely creature in our Surrey garden at dusk this evening. Initially, I thought this was a Garden Tiger Moth, but it seems it is likely a Jersey Tiger Moth.
