Decided to vibe code a #homeassistant control panel using #esphome and lgvl. After several evenings of work it turns out reading the documentation is easier.

Fixed my Kyria over the weekend and cannot find the QMK code with my custom layout. Today typing is incredibly slow and painful

Writing a series of devotional and decided to use LLMs as my assistants to search for bible references.

They ALL need a lot of work. Even GPT-5 is very insistent that various fictional chapters are good sources (Galatians 16 for example).

I think I am gaining time, but we shall see.

I could really use your help looking for Senior++ Technical Writer roles or intermediate++ Developer Relations roles. I'm looking to stay in Germany.

I'm also considering building up a freelance pipeline but realistically full time work makes my visa situation way easier.

Please RT for reach 🙇‍♀️

Note to self: Playing around with @dagger.io on a local LLM running on a 5 year old CPU is not optimal

Something to remember as we arrive at Pentecost.

Been playing around with Qwen3 the last couple of days and it is generally pretty good. However, watching the output while it is "thinking" reveals it to be hilariously indecisive.

If your industry feels the need to seriously evaluate C-level security, perhaps you should be asking yourself "are we the baddies?"

Unpopular opinions for tonight:

- dynamodb is utterly insane
- golang is ridiculously verbose

Neither is realistically any better than Python plus RDBMS of choice for 99% of use cases

Why not just say "it blew up"?

IANAL but I do not understand why Luigi Mangione is being charged with terrorism. It has several definitions, but all are for a political purposes, but as far as I can tell this was personal.

24 hours without electricity, in house with electric blinds, heating and all appliances has highlighted how brilliant the electricity grid.

Do need to investigate backup solutions though.
