Somebody tell me why it's a bad idea to buy these two and post a bunch of short clips of them acting like DS9 got rebooted into a Mad About You era sitcom. I'm struggling to say no to this.

Even more than the Democratic Party resilience narrative building tonight, I think this takeaway needs some attention:

Pete Hegseth announcing that The Department of War is actually the name of the tag team he’s forming with JD Vance, and that we had better be ready for the atrocities they’re going to commit at Wrestlemania.

One thing that I will say I appreciate about iPadOS 26 is that it finally feels like I can use the Nintendo Music app on here in a normal-ish way.

So long, Terence Stamp.

My favorites of his:
- The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert (The Australian Drag Road Movie Classic)

You’ve inherited a movie theater. What’s your first double feature?

It’s hard on the kids, who still don’t feel like this is normal.

And there are lots of reasons why this is going to be the marquee topic with my therapist today.

I need to believe this ending will lead to something better for us all. Maybe there are things that are already better.

Still hurts.

I figured out why I’ve felt so useless today. This would’ve been my 14th wedding anniversary.

I can’t fault her for leaving, because we were both willing to suspend our disbelief and imagine that her coming out (🏳️‍🌈👩‍❤️‍💋‍👩🏳️‍🌈) didn’t have to necessarily split up our family.

This movie is so painful and beautiful. Not a remake of All That Heaven Allows, but a story whose heart beats in the same time signature.

There are plenty of examples of journalists fumbling the ball with recent events, but I think @apnews.com did a solid job framing this.

- Highlights how ICE is intentionally moving faster than the courts to avoid accountability.

He’s the hero our city deserves, but not the one it needs right now. He's a silent guardian. A watchful protector. A Dark Nut.

Weeding old files and came across this one from two years ago. I still think it's funny, so I'm keeping it.
